Playlist – April 2008 Week #2

Yikes it’s been quite a while since my last playlist update. No my zune hasn’t died, no to all you haters trance music hasn’t died either, I’ve been coming across some great tunes but just haven’t had the time I’ve just been plain lazy. Well on to the good stuff.

Kaskade – 4AM (Adam K & Soha Vox Remix)

Friday morning means a fresh crisp rip of ASOT/GDJB And to my pleasant surprise Armin started out with a very “me” tune; think raspy European female vocals, progressive melodic beat, a deep hypnotic bass, and voilà! An instant favourite! . I couldn’t stop listening to this track and it’ll definitely be on my playlist for quite some time. I think of trance music like coffee – it can be served in many different ways and this so happens to the exact blend I absolutely adore.

Adam K and Soha – Twilight

What can I say, these guys are on fire! Loved them first when I heard Long Distance, then they topped it off with Twilight This is audio ecstasy at it’s best. And here I’ll quote Solarstone :

” That track is what trance is all about. If anyone tells you that trance is cheesy and rubbish, you tell them to listen to that, and then give them a slap! “

Mat Zo – Rush

I chose a really bad time to listen to this track (just before class) and it literally repeated itself in my head the whole time. I succumbed and ended up humming to the track and tapping my feet to the beat in my head which, needless to say, invited some unnecessary stares haha.
