the world is thinking..

Question is, are you?

It’s all our fault

Imagine finding out a most-wanted terrorist escaping.

Imagine also finding out he escaped from what can be considered as a high security detention camp, and to top it off, during a toilet break session.

Then imagine that the police pasted posters of this terrorist all around the country, and made special notice to mention that he walks with a limp.

But a few days later, they clarify that the limp is only obvious when he runs or moves quickly. So stop reporting every person that moves slowly with a limp already.

Then imagine, after more than a month of futile hunting, the government speaks. Not to finally apologise for the apparent huge blunder, but to blame its citizens for the mess-up. They tell the citizens to stop “breeding a dependency mentality” and that they are “being complacent when they believe that the Government will take care of all security matters.

Then imagine it’s all actually happening in Singapore.

When did things in Singapore become so ridiculous? For matters of national security such as this, who ELSE can we depend on but our government? This fallacy in logic is staggering, especially so for PAP. Previously your messages were sublime and different approaches had to be made before the real underlying meaning was uncovered. But this is a straight-up joke. On top of letting Wong Kang Seng and his million dollar paycheck off the hook, now the responsibility of Mas Selemat’s escape has to be shouldered by the citizens of Singapore.

Someone remind me to re-read this article when the next elections come.

  1. No one need to remind me of this when the next election comes. I am darn sure I wasn’t part of the diabolical 66.6%.

  3. wat’s the difference? at least it’s only Bush (much cheaper) and it’s not a three-in-one sachet ie Mentor Bush and Senior Bush as well.
