Playlist – February 2008 Week #2

Initially wanted to post the playlist last night but got back late and, well, the rest is history.

The Blizzard – Kalopsia

This tune is progressive trance at its finest. Whenever I listen to it I’m envision myself transported to an alternate dimension where there are no laws of science to hold you back and no social norms that you have to abide to. Is this what heaven sounds like?

Orjan Nilsen – La Guitarra

The starting few minutes is very misleading, in a good way. What begins as a heavy electronic tune begins to slow down into a fusion of guitar strumming and beats. Kudos to Orjan Nilsen’s creativity juices. There’s a sad story behind this production though – it’s made in memory of his brother that passed away.

Li Kwan – Point Zero (Leama & Moor Remix)

After a few unsuccessful tries I finally managed to upload this! I refused to use the Mark Eteson Remix that’s receiving a decent amount of airplay now, because this remix is just on another playing field. I’ve come to realise to properly appreciate this tune you need to have to have DECENT speakers; built-in speakers by the side of your monitor with horrible bass input just won’t cut it. Then, you need to turn up the volume a few more notches because this track is just explosive! Enjoy!
